Dope Snow Blizzard Ski Pants

Blizzard pants combine a relaxed, stretchy fit with light insulation and a waist belt. They are a straightforward option for lift-served riding, especially if you prefer pants to a high bib.

Product guide · Manufacturer specifications

Warmth without a bib

The 40 g/m² Fellex insulation runs throughout the pants. It adds a layer of warmth for chairlift rides without requiring you to buy separate insulated shorts or pants underneath.

The relaxed cut includes room through the legs and crotch, while two-way stretch lets the fabric move with you. These are waist pants, so your jacket provides the coverage above the belt.

Snow protection and warmer afternoons

DRY Tech waterproof fabric and taped seams protect against moisture getting through the outer material and stitching. The snow gaiters sit around your boots, with a nonslip edge and lace hook to help keep them in place.

Ventilation is the main limitation: Dope does not list leg vents on this model. If you regularly get hot or plan to hike uphill, pants with thigh vents give you a more direct way to cool down.

Waist, hems and storage

Both the waistband and removable belt are elasticized. A zipped fly provides access without loosening the belt.

Drawcords at the hems let you adjust the opening around your boots. An internal media pocket provides a separate place for a phone or small valuables. Keep the cuffs outside your boots, with the gaiters underneath them, to avoid bunching fabric inside the boot.
